Au Revoir London, until Next Time!

Oufit, travels

“A great adventure begins with one step”.

It is crazy, the good kind of crazy when you are travelling and you are on the go; you gain a lot of perspectives. It straightens your conscience; I see this big world, how little space I occupy in it and how much I have yet to explore.

Life is all about memories and fragments of what was, what is and what is coming. We all have no idea what our future holds and it’s amazing how we see things with more clarity when we are on the move. I knew but now I try to practice how useless it is to worry about unimportant stuffs in life and run relentlessly for things, which does not serve anything positive to you. I truly believe in having a moral compass and independently working hard for things we want in life but it’s also important to not let life pass by us in that process . The moment you start taking time out to understand yourself, that’s when you will be more stronger and invincible.

The main problem arises when you don’t live for yourself. Yes! we do need to be compassionate and responsible but there comes a point when you have to stop living for others because hey! You only live once. So, be happy, do the right thing and make the most out of it.

3 weeks of traveling over England and a whirlwind of the things I did! London was truly amazing, maybe because I had the company of my daddy, my best friend and loads of other amazing people who made it feel so wonderful. So, to continue my travel post from where I left, my third and last week started with an authentic high tea at Beaufort House, Chelsea. The afternoon tea culture is a tradition most popular here in the UK. I must say, a fashionable social event among tea lovers. Well, I got to beautifully experience that with amazing people. Thank you Neesha di for making the plan and an early reservations there.

I also got to wander around in the most beautiful parks and also lived the fabulous nightlife of London, which I had saved for my last Friday and it was so worth it. I am not a hardcore clubbing person but I do enjoy it from time to time. So, we went to a happening restaurant and bar at the iconic ‘Shard’, which happens to be Europe’s first vertical tower. The interior, the ambience and most importantly the night view of the London city from the 26th floor was just mind-boggling.

What followed after that was a visit to a Hawaiian themed club named ‘Club Tropicana’ which literally gave me beach vibes in the middle of the cold London with its oomph music, tropical décor and ambience. Then, we headed to club ‘Tiger Tiger’ which was the most happening club I had ever been to and the crowd was incredible. After which we strolled around ‘Trafalgar Square’, which looked beautiful at night. Well, my first time in London was filled with fun, laughter and special moments that I will never forget. My next destination after London is more exciting and I will be blogging about it soon!

Till then, there’s more 2 my style diary

Love & Luck

  1. I love the red telephone booths of London. You are pretty in pink today, Antee. The fountain pics are so pretty. You are very lucky to be able to travel like you do. Having spent time with your dad is special, Antee.
